KIDS’ LINEN CLOTHES

Collection:

Soft on Skin. Strong for Play

Our Kids' Linen Clothes

I spent way too much time searching for good linen kids' clothing. It barely existed, and that made no sense to me. When I started Treehouse, I knew linen had to be at the center of what we offered. It’s comfortable, durable, and made for real life with kids. Our linen isn’t just for summer. It’s for messy picnics, stroller naps, playground scrapes, and all the everyday moments you don’t want to rush past. These are the pieces you hold onto a little longer, not just because they held up, but because they were worth it.

Why Linen Matters for Kids and Our Planet

For Your Child’s Comfort (and Your Peace of Mind)

Naturally Cooling: Linen is nature’s air conditioner. The hollow fibers create airflow that helps regulate temperature, wick moisture, and keep your child cool, even when it’s hot and sticky outside.

Non-Toxic and Hypoallergenic: Sensitive skin isn’t rare anymore — eczema, allergies, rashes. That’s why we use pure flax linen with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification. No coatings, no chemical softeners. Just a clean, breathable fabric you don’t have to second-guess.

Built to Last: Linen doesn’t baby your kids — it keeps up with them. It’s one of the strongest natural fibers out there and wears in, not out. Scraped knees, climbing trees — this is fabric that earns its softness over time.

Soft Without the Fuss: Linen’s texture is earthy, not engineered. It feels lived-in from the start and gets better with each wash. Less clingy. More real.

For Our Planet's Wellbeing

Low-Impact Farming: Flax needs little water and thrives in poor soil, with zero irrigation and minimal inputs. That means less strain on the land and fewer resources wasted.

Regenerative by Nature: Flax helps rebuild soil health. Its deep roots reduce erosion and improve the land for the next crop. A quiet win for biodiversity.

Zero Waste: From flaxseed oil to paper to clothing, the flax plant gives generously. Almost every part is used, making it one of the most sustainable textiles available.

Biodegradable: After a long life of wear, linen naturally decomposes. No synthetic traces. No landfill guilt. Just a garment that gives back to the earth.

Our Linen Promise: Certified Pure & Safe

I don’t rely on marketing claims — and I don’t expect you to, either. That’s why every piece in our linen collection is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. It means each component has been independently tested and verified to be free from harmful substances, including known carcinogens and endocrine disruptors.

This isn't ticking a box. It's about knowing the fabric your child sleeps in, plays in, and yes, sometimes chews on, is clean, safe, and non-toxic — the way it should be.

Caring for Your Linen Clothes

Don't let linen's elegant appearance fool you – it's surprisingly unfussy:

  • Toss in the washing machine on cold with similar colors
  • Use a gentle, eco-friendly detergent
  • Tumble dry on low or hang outside for that sun-kissed freshness

Embrace the Crinkle: Those natural creases? They're linen's signature. I've learned to love them. They help the fabric resist deeper wrinkles when worn. For special occasions, a quick iron while slightly damp works wonders, but for everyday play? Let linen be linen.

A Note from Me to You

I made this collection because I couldn’t find clothes that ticked every box: safe, breathable, well-made, and honestly, not ugly. These are pieces I put on my kids for birthdays, flights, and afternoons digging in the dirt. They’re meant to last, soften with time, and feel good to wear.

Thanks for being part of this.
